The investment zone is situated within the administrative borders of Ociąż. The locality is one of the biggest and the most dynamic villages in the municiplity of Nowe Skalmierzyce. It’s located near state road number 25, which connects Kalisz and Ostrów Wlkp. one of the biggest cities in Great Poland. The area occupies 50 ha and is a part of a bigger complex allocated for business purposes by the local authorities. The area for access roads has been marked out so far.
Basic health care is provided by the Non-public Health Care Centre “Uśmiech Serca” in Skalmierzyce, the Specialist Health Care Unit in Kotowiecko as well as private surgeries. The Municipal Healthcare Centre supports overcoming life difficulties in various forms like money, in-kind and services as needed. Programs like “a student in a village” and “government help in feeding program” are carried out. They help to raise the standard of living of people with very low income.
There are seven primary schools and two junior high schools in the municipality of Nowe Skalmierzyce. 1,513 students attend compulsorily these schools and around 184 teachers work there full time in the school year of 2009/2010. Young children attend four kindergartens. Around 77% of all the small children are provided with preschool education which distinguishes us from other municipalities.
